I want to personally invite you to the Idaho Milk Processors Association Annual Meeting and Convention to be held August 11-12, 2011 at Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho.

We are looking forward to having you join us for what promises to be an outstanding event. This year will be the 4th Annual IMPA Dairy Product Development Competition, which will involve food science students from University of Idaho/ Washington State, Utah State, South Dakota State, and BYU universities competing for prize money and bragging rights for having the best new dairy product. With a few years now under our belt, we are receiving feedback/updates from the colleges and dairy’s in regards to the student’s success with their product(s). IMPA hopes to bring exciting news and updates as we hear of the current and future success stories that this competition has made possible. A product from last years competition may even be taken to market! We hope to have some exciting news to share at this year’s conference.

We will also be recognizing and celebrating another entrant into the IMPA Hall of Fame.

You can register electronically at http://impaconference.com or by downloading the pdf registration form. To ensure that you are able to participate in this year’s conference, please register as soon as possible and no later than July 31, 2011. Pre-registration eliminates the delay at the registration desk and enables us to give catering a more accurate estimate of the number of persons that will be attending each function (catering requires the estimate 72 hours prior to each function). For those persons who do pre-register, name badges and IMPA shirts (if ordered) will be ready for you when you arrive. Cancellations through August 7th will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations after August 7th are not eligible for a refund.

Registration fees for 2011 will remain unchanged. For IMPA members: $250 per person and $100 for spouse (or friend, child, etc. that may attend with you and participate in IMPA functions/meals). For non-members: $350 per person and $100 for spouse (or significant other). An individual registration form/fee is required for each person attending any part of the convention, including any of the meals. Please assist us in guaranteeing accurate food counts and event scheduling by registering all guests and/or significant other that you may bring.

Enclosed is a room reservation form for Sun Valley Resort, which must be completed and returned to Sun Valley Resort as soon as possible and prior to June 24th, 2011. (45 days prior to the Conference). Sun Valley is very strict about its reservation policy and any rooms remaining, which have been reserved for IMPA, will be released at close of business on June 24th and you may not be able to book a room at the Resort itself. Please note this deadline and make your reservation early.

Convention events (golf, fishing, trap, hiking and spouse/guest event) will require pre-registration. We want to do everything possible to provide our tournament activity chairmen the opportunity to produce a great event.
